The American Express® Gold Card will retain its other $120 dining credit perk, which is also usable in $10-per-month increments when you pay with your card at select restaurants like Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Shake Shack, Grubhub and more.
… But is ending its airline fee credit in 2022
While the American Express® Gold Card is gaining up to $120 in annual Uber credits, it will lose its annual $100 airline fee statement credit. Currently, that credit can be applied toward incidental airline fees, including for checked bags and seat selection, with one selected qualifying airline (which you can change once a year). Terms apply.
Cardholders will be able to continue to use that credit through Dec. 31, 2021, and then it will be discontinued.
